On a cinema rig where a matte box adds unwanted bulk, the Mofage Poco Drop-In Filter Adapter Advanced Kit puts a quick-change filter holder behind a Sony E camera’s PL lens adapter. It combines a Sony E-to-PL mount adapter with a rear drop-in filter system, so filters sit close to the camera rather than in front of the lens. The kit is aimed at filmmakers and hybrid shooters working with PL lenses who want exposure control and image effects in a compact setup. Its variable ND cartridge is useful on cameras without built-in ND: adjust light reaching the sensor while keeping the lens and camera combination in place. For a softer, more atmospheric image, choose one of the included Black Mist or White Mist filters. The Orange Streak cartridge creates a distinct linear flare effect associated with anamorphic lenses, useful when a scene calls for a more stylised highlight. A Pure Clear cartridge is also included for shooting without an effect filter. The cartridges share one holder, so a change in look doesn’t mean rebuilding a front-mounted filter arrangement. It’s a focused kit for productions that want PL glass, fast filter changes and several creative options in one mount adapter.

Filter control at the mount

• Rear drop-in filter system: The filter holder sits at the back of the adapter, keeping the setup’s filter system close to the camera instead of adding a matte box in front of the lens.
• Side-button release: Press the button on the adapter to change cartridges. Each one clicks into place, a useful detail when filters are being changed during a busy production.
• Replaceable mount ring: The supplied ring is for Sony E cameras and PL lenses. The ring can be changed, giving the adapter a modular mount design.
• Black Mist in two strengths: The 1/8 and 1/4 cartridges soften highlights while retaining detail in darker areas, with two levels of diffusion to choose from.
• White Mist in two strengths: The 1/8 and 1/4 versions create a softer, lower-contrast look. Having both strengths in the kit gives you a choice of how pronounced that treatment appears.
• Orange Streak effect: This cartridge produces linear flares associated with anamorphic lenses. Use it when you want a clearly visible streak effect from bright points of light.
• Arca-style support rail: The adapter includes an Arca support rail with a 1/4"-20 thread, adding a mounting point for rig support.
