Mofage Pro Duo Series FSND & Glimmer
Mofage Pro Duo Series FSND & Glimmer - Four ND strengths and two Glimmer grades
Bright daylight can call for ND filtration, while a softer visual treatment calls for a different filter combination. The Mofage Pro Duo Series FSND & Glimmer Advanced Kit brings four Pro Duo ND strengths together with two Glimmer grades and four Pure Clear filters. It’s a set of fixed and flexible filters made for the POCO filter adapter, with the flexible filters used alongside the fixed ones. That mix gives you options for managing light and building different filter effects within one system. For landscape work, choose an ND filter to reduce the light reaching the lens; for portraits or other scenes where you want a Glimmer treatment, swap in one of the Glimmer filters. Pure Clear elements complete the selection when you want a clear filter in the combination. The filters can be changed and stacked, so the kit is aimed at photographers who want to shape their image with interchangeable filter layers rather than rely on a single fixed effect.
Filter options
- Four ND densities: The set includes Pro Duo ND filters in 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2. Having four strengths gives you a choice of light reduction for bright scenes and changing exposure needs.
- Two Glimmer grades: Choose between 1/8 and 1/4 Glimmer filters. The two grades offer distinct levels of the named Glimmer treatment when you want that effect in a scene.
- Four Pure Clear filters: These are the clear elements in the set, giving you options to use a clear filter as part of your filter combination.
- Fixed and flexible elements: The kit combines both types of filter. The flexible filters are intended to be used together with fixed filters, rather than on their own.
- Interchangeable, stackable filters: Swap filters to change the look, or stack them to create combinations. This makes the set useful for adapting your filter arrangement from one scene to the next.
- POCO filter-adapter system: The filters are made for use with the POCO filter adapter. That specific pairing matters: the adapter is the intended connection point for the system.
Specialist Note
Sorting out separate filters for light control and Glimmer effects is exactly the problem this kit removes. I’d point a landscape photographer towards the four ND strengths: choose the density that fits the light, then use the stackable elements to build the combination you need. For portraits, the 1/8 and 1/4 Glimmer filters give you two grades to choose between, rather than one fixed option. The key detail at the counter is that the flexible filters work with fixed filters, and the set is made for the POCO filter adapter. So it’s a good fit for an owner already working with that adapter system; the kit doesn’t replace the adapter.
