Nedis Action Cam | Full HD footage on land or underwater

A phone is an easy way to film a moment, but it can be awkward when you want a point-of-view view of the action. The Nedis Action Cam is made for sports, travel, vlogging and first-person footage, with a clear use for activities where water is part of the day too. It records at 1080p and 30 frames per second, and its listed water resistance extends to 30 metres. The 12-megapixel figure gives you still-image resolution as well as video, while Wi-Fi adds a wireless option to the camera’s setup. It suits someone who wants to record a sports session, bring home footage from a trip or capture a route from their own perspective. Its appeal is a simple one: Full HD video and a stated depth limit in a dedicated action camera, for recording close to the activity.

Specialist Note

For a dive planned to 30 metres, I’d consider this Nedis for a point-of-view recording that can go underwater with you. Its stated water resistance gives you a useful depth boundary to plan around, so keep the camera within that limit. Away from the water, 1080p at 30 fps suits a sports sequence or travel clip you’ll watch at normal speed. The 12-megapixel figure is handy when you also want still images of a place or moment. I’d recommend it to an action or travel user who wants a straightforward camera for those specific outings. One honest limit: the listed video mode is 30 fps, so it isn’t presented as a slow-motion camera.
