Nedis Cable CAT6 S/FTP RJ45 (8P8C) M-RJ45 (8P8C) M 2m WH

Nedis Cable CAT6 S/FTP RJ45 (8P8C) M-RJ45 (8P8C) M 2m WH | A two-metre RJ45 cable

Its clearly defined combination of CAT6, S/FTP and male RJ45 connectors makes this Nedis cable easy to identify when you need a particular kind of network lead. It’s suited to connecting equipment with matching RJ45 sockets, with a 2m cable length for a relatively short run between them. The connectors are RJ45 (8P8C) at both ends, so you get the same connection type on either side. The white colour can also help the cable sit more discreetly alongside light-coloured equipment or furnishings. If you’re replacing an existing lead, the useful details to match are the connector type, length and cable designation; this one gives you those details in its name. It’s a straightforward option when those are the specifications your setup calls for.

Choosing the right length

Two metres gives you a specific amount of cable to work with, so it’s worth thinking about the distance between the two RJ45 connections before choosing it. For nearby equipment, a cable of this length can keep the connection direct without reaching for a longer lead. Keep the route in mind too: the cable has to reach between the ports along the path you’ll actually use, not just across the gap in a straight line. The white finish is a practical detail when you want the cable’s colour to blend with its surroundings. This is a cable for a defined, short connection—not a general-purpose accessory for camera use.
