Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male U/UTP 15.0m Round PVC Grey Label

Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male U/UTP 15.0m Round PVC Grey Label | A longer wired link for flexible placement

Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male U/UTP 15.0m Round PVC Grey Label is a 15-metre CAT6 cable for people who need a wired network connection between equipment that uses RJ45 sockets. It has an RJ45 male connector at each end, so it’s intended to link two matching sockets directly. The length gives you more room to place the connected equipment apart than a short patch lead would; it suits a home or work setup where the cable needs to follow a longer route. Its round, grey PVC cable has a plain, practical look, while the U/UTP designation identifies the cable type. This is a straightforward option when the distance between the two connection points matters more than having a compact lead. Plan the route first, especially if you want the cable to run neatly along a wall or around furniture.

Planning a cable run

Before connecting anything, consider the path the cable needs to take rather than measuring only the straight-line distance between the two points. Corners, doorways and the route around desks or shelves can use up extra length. A little slack can make it easier to position equipment, but too much loose cable may be awkward to keep tidy. The grey colour is worth bearing in mind if the cable will remain visible against a wall or floor; it may blend in with some surroundings and contrast with others. Since both ends have the same connector type, think of this as a cable for a direct link between two RJ45 sockets, not as an adapter for a different connector. Keep the intended route in mind when deciding whether this length and round cable shape suit your space.
