Nedis CAT7 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 10.0m Snagless Round LSZH White Label

Nedis CAT7 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 10.0m Snagless Round LSZH White Label | A direct link for network equipment

Getting network equipment where it needs to go can be awkward when the cable run is longer than a short desk connection. This Nedis CAT7 network cable gives you a 10.0m cable with male RJ45 connectors at both ends, for a direct connection between equipment with matching RJ45 sockets. It’s suited to a fixed run around a room or along a planned route where you want a cable rather than relying on a wireless link. The cable is round and white, with a snagless design and an LSZH designation. That’s a practical set of details for a cable you may need to route neatly through a space. The useful thing here is the straightforward length and connector arrangement; there’s no need to work out which end goes where. One honest point: 10 metres can be more cable than a nearby pair of devices needs, so think about the route before you choose it.

Planning the cable run

Measure the path the cable will actually follow, rather than judging the gap between the two devices in a straight line. A route around furniture or along a wall takes more cable, and leaving a little room at each end can make placement less fussy. It’s also worth considering where the cable will cross a doorway or pass close to a chair, so you can choose a route that’s less likely to get pulled or caught. The snagless design is relevant when handling the plugs around a tight route, but it doesn’t remove the need to place the cable thoughtfully. If the run will be visible, the white finish may suit a light-coloured room better than a darker cable. Keep the cable path in mind when deciding whether this particular length makes sense for your setup.
