Nedis COAX- / CAT6-Combination Cable | 50.0 M

Nedis COAX- / CAT6-Combination Cable | 50.0 M | Two cable types in one 50-metre run

When a route needs both coax and CAT6, this cable gives you one combined cable to plan around. The Nedis COAX- / CAT6-Combination Cable is 50.0 metres long, making it suited to longer runs where those two cable types need to follow the same route. It’s a practical option for installers and anyone setting up a cable route who wants both connections carried together, rather than planning two separate routes. The useful point here is straightforward: you get coax and CAT6 in one combination cable, with 50 metres to work with. That can make route planning simpler, particularly when the path between the equipment and its destination is long. Before choosing it, think through where the cable needs to go and whether the full length suits that path; a 50-metre cable is a substantial run, so a quick measurement is worthwhile.

Planning the cable route

Start by tracing the intended route from end to end, including the path around corners and along the places where the cable will actually travel. Measuring only the straight-line distance between two points can leave you short once the route follows walls or goes around obstacles. A simple sketch can help you keep track of the path and decide where the cable needs to enter or leave a room. It’s also worth planning the route before installation, so you can judge whether a combined coax and CAT6 cable suits the way the two connections need to run. The 50-metre length gives you room for a longer path, but the route itself is what determines how much you’ll use.
