Nedis Coaxial Cable 90dB IEC (Coax) M-IEC (Coax) F 5.0m WH

Nedis Coaxial Cable 90dB IEC (Coax) M-IEC (Coax) F 5.0m WH | A longer coax connection

The defining choice is the 5.0m length: it gives you more reach when the two coax connection points aren’t close together. This Nedis cable is for anyone who needs an IEC coax connection with a male end on one side and a female end on the other. That connector arrangement is its main reason to choose it, so it suits a setup where those two ends match the connections you need to join. It’s a straightforward cable rather than an accessory with extra functions to learn. The 90dB figure is part of the product designation; it’s best to treat that as a stated rating, not a promise about how a particular installation will perform. For a longer route between compatible connection points, the extra length can make placement less restrictive. The cable is white, a detail worth considering if it will run across a visible wall or floor.

Planning the route

Before connecting it, work out where the cable needs to travel and where each end will land. That simple check helps you avoid discovering that the cable has to cross an awkward part of the room or reach around furniture. Keep the route practical, with enough slack to connect both ends without pulling them tight. If the cable will be visible, its white finish may blend more readily with a pale surface than with a dark one; it won’t disappear against every background. The useful thing here is the combination of a defined IEC connector pairing and a longer run. If your connection points call for that pairing, you can plan the route around the cable instead of trying to make a shorter lead stretch.
