Nedis HDMI-VGA-CBL HDMI-Conn - VGA F + 3.5mm Outp 0.2m WH

Nedis HDMI–VGA Cable, HDMI to VGA Female with 3.5 mm Output, 0.2 m, White | Connect HDMI to a VGA display

Show the picture from an HDMI connection on a screen with a VGA input using the Nedis HDMI–VGA cable. It has an HDMI connector, a female VGA connection and a separate 3.5 mm output, all on a short 0.2 m cable. That makes it suited to a setup where the source and display use these different connections and you want an audio output available as well. The short length keeps the adapter close to the equipment; it’s an adapter lead, not a long cable for placing a screen across the room. Its white finish is easy to spot among darker cables, which can be handy when connecting things in a crowded workspace. The connection layout is straightforward: HDMI at the source end, VGA at the display end, and 3.5 mm for audio. If that matches the connections in your setup, this Nedis cable keeps the link compact.

In practical use

This cable is most relevant when a display offers VGA and the device you’re connecting has an HDMI connection. The VGA socket is female, so it’s the receiving end for a VGA plug. For audio, the 3.5 mm output provides a separate connection point; the title identifies it as an output, so treat it as such when planning where your sound will go. At 20 cm, the lead is best kept close to the connected equipment. It won’t provide much distance between devices, but that compact reach can help avoid a longer loose cable where the screen and source sit together. Check that the connections in your particular setup match the ends described here.
