Nedis Network Cable CAT6a Solid S/FTP Copper 100 M Indoor LSZH GY

Nedis Network Cable CAT6a Solid S/FTP Copper 100 M Indoor LSZH GY | Plan a long indoor network run

For an indoor network run between two points, this 100-metre cable gives you room to plan a route around the layout rather than relying on a short lead. The Nedis Network Cable CAT6a Solid S/FTP Copper 100 M Indoor LSZH GY is a solid copper cable, marked CAT6a and S/FTP, with an LSZH designation and a grey finish. It suits anyone setting out a longer indoor cable route, from a home network project to a workplace installation where a measured length is more practical than a succession of short connections. Its 100-metre length is the key detail: you can measure the path you actually need to follow and work from that. One honest point: the title gives you the cable’s construction and length, but no connector details, so the job needs to be planned around the connections your installation calls for.

Plan the route before you start

Start by tracing the route between the two points, including corners and the path the cable will take along the way. A straight-line measurement can understate the length you need. Compare your route estimate with the 100-metre length and leave room for the way the cable will reach each endpoint. This makes it easier to decide where the cable should run before you begin the installation, and helps avoid treating the full length as a simple point-to-point measurement. The grey finish is also useful to note when planning how the cable will look in an indoor space. Keep the cable’s CAT6a, S/FTP and LSZH markings to hand when documenting the run, so its stated type is clear later.
