Nedis Subwoofer-Cable RCA M 2X RCA M Gold Plated 3m Round 4mm

Nedis Subwoofer-Cable RCA M 2X RCA M Gold Plated 3m Round 4mm | RCA reach for subwoofer setups

What sets this Nedis cable apart from a single-ended RCA lead is its RCA male to 2x RCA male arrangement. It’s for listeners whose subwoofer setup calls for that connector layout, and who need more reach than a very short cable provides. At three metres, it gives you some flexibility when placing the subwoofer in relation to the rest of your audio equipment. The cable is gold plated and has a round 4 mm profile. Its defining detail, though, is the pair of RCA male connectors at one end of the connection arrangement. The practical question is whether that layout matches the sockets your setup requires. If it does, this cable is a straightforward option for a subwoofer connection over a little distance. There’s no point choosing by length alone; the connector arrangement is the deciding detail here.

Planning the connection

Before settling on a cable, think through the route it’ll take between the equipment. Measuring along that route, rather than straight across the room, can help you judge whether the available reach suits your placement. Leave room for the cable to follow a natural path around furniture and other equipment, instead of pulling it taut. It also helps to look closely at the connection layout you need at each end; a cable with the wrong plug arrangement won’t solve the job, however convenient its length may be. Those few checks make it easier to choose a cable that fits the way your system is actually arranged.
