Nedis Universal AC-Pwradap 3/4.5/5/6/7.5/9/12 V DC 1.5 A

Nedis Universal AC-Pwradap 3/4.5/5/6/7.5/9/12 V DC 1.5 A | Seven DC voltage options in one adapter

Power equipment that calls for a suitable DC supply with the Nedis Universal AC-Pwradap 3/4.5/5/6/7.5/9/12 V DC 1.5 A. It’s intended for people who need an AC power adapter with a choice of output voltages, rather than a supply set to just one voltage. You can select from seven settings, from 3 V through to 12 V, with a stated output of 1.5 A. That makes its main appeal straightforward: one adapter can serve a device whose required DC voltage matches one of those settings. It may be useful at home or at a workbench when powering compatible equipment, but the voltage range alone doesn’t make it suitable for every device. The key is matching the selected output to the device’s stated power requirement. The supplied colour is black.

Choosing the right setting

Before connecting an adapter, read the power information on the device or in its instructions. Choose an output voltage that matches the device’s stated DC input; don’t guess from the device’s size or from what another adapter uses. A selectable-voltage supply gives you options, but the right setting depends on the equipment you want to power. If you’re buying this to replace an existing adapter, compare the replacement requirement with the information on the original supply and the device. A voltage mismatch can make an otherwise suitable-looking power supply the wrong one for the job. Also bear in mind that this product’s listed current is 1.5 A: make sure that suits the device’s requirements too. Those checks matter more than the word “Universal” in the name. When the requirements match, the range of settings lets you choose the relevant DC output without relying on a single fixed voltage.
