Nikon DK-20C Correctielens-2
Nikon DK-20C Correctielens-2 | Viewfinder correction at -2
Nikon DK-20C Correctielens-2 is a -2 dioptre viewfinder correction lens for photographers who need that specific adjustment when looking through the viewfinder. It changes the view you see while composing, not the image captured by the camera. This is a focused accessory, intended for someone whose eyesight calls for minus-two correction rather than a general-purpose optical upgrade. If your viewfinder view feels uncomfortable or difficult to judge and -2 is the correction you need, this lens gives you a specific option to address that. It can make everyday tasks such as framing a portrait or checking a composition feel more comfortable. The key is matching the correction to your eyesight: the -2 value is fixed, rather than an adjustable range. That makes the DK-20C a straightforward choice for the right prescription, but not a way to fine-tune different correction strengths.
Specialist Note
At the viewfinder, this gives you a direct, specific adjustment: -2 dioptres, with no effect on the image recorded by the camera. I’d point it out to someone who knows minus-two is the correction they need and wants a more comfortable view while composing. It can be useful when lining up a portrait or checking the frame before taking a picture; look through the viewfinder and see whether the view suits your eye. The important point is that this is a fixed correction, not a dial you can keep turning to find a different setting. If -2 matches your eyesight, it keeps the choice simple; if you need another value, this isn’t the right correction.
