On Set Headsets FilmPro Headset (Black Icom)

On Set Headsets FilmPro Headset (Black Icom) | On-set listening for film crews

Without a headset, listening during a film shoot can mean relying on whatever audio setup is nearby. The On Set Headsets FilmPro Headset is a black headset named for on-set use, suited to crew members looking for a dedicated headset as part of their film-work setup. Its name also identifies the Icom version, which is useful when you’re comparing product variants. The honest point is that the title gives only a basic picture: it identifies the product as a headset, but doesn’t tell us about its connection, controls or other technical details. So I’d choose it for the role and variant you need, rather than assume a particular feature. If you’re sourcing a headset for set work and the Black Icom designation matches your requirements, this is the specific FilmPro model to consider.

For a specialist shop, the practical place to start is the product name itself. “On Set Headsets” places it in a film-set context, while “FilmPro Headset” names the model and “Black Icom” distinguishes the version. Those details can help narrow a search when you’re assembling or replenishing equipment for a production. They don’t, on their own, describe how the headset connects or what equipment it works with, so I wouldn’t treat the Icom wording as a confirmed compatibility statement. Instead, use the full name to identify the item you’re looking for, and match it against the requirements of your setup. It’s a straightforward listing, without claims about features that aren’t established.
