Permajet FB Royal Gloss 310 Roll 60INCHES 15m

Permajet FB Royal Gloss 310 Roll 60INCHES 15m | Glossy photo printing on a wide roll

Its roll format is the defining difference here: Permajet FB Royal Gloss 310 gives you glossy photo paper across a 60-inch width, with 15 metres on the roll. It suits photographers and print studios making large-format images, or anyone who wants roll paper for a project with prints in varied lengths. The glossy finish is the straightforward reason to choose it when you want a reflective surface for photo prints. The product name identifies it as FB Royal Gloss 310; the title also gives the roll width and length, so you can judge the format against the work you have planned. A broad roll can be useful when a print needs more width than a standard sheet offers, though the paper alone doesn’t determine which printer can handle it. If glossy paper and a roll format fit your workflow, this is a specific, substantial length of stock to plan around.

Working with a roll

Roll paper changes how you plan a print session. Rather than choosing among fixed sheet sizes, you’re working from a continuous length, which gives you room to think about the dimensions of each image and how much paper a run will use. That can make sense for a set of prints with different proportions, or for one larger image that needs a broad sheet. It also calls for a little forethought: consider the print dimensions and the amount of roll you expect to use before starting a job. The 15-metre length gives you a clear quantity to plan with, while the 60-inch width is the key measurement for thinking about the scale of your output. Keep the paper’s glossy finish in mind when deciding how you want the final photograph to look. This is photo paper in a roll format, not a collection of pre-cut sheets, so it’s best suited to a workflow organised around roll stock.
