Permajet Watercolour Rag 310GSM A3+ 25S

Permajet Watercolour Rag 310GSM A3+ 25S | A3+ paper for expressive photo prints

For photographic prints with an art-paper feel, Permajet Watercolour Rag 310GSM A3+ 25S gives you a named watercolour rag paper in a generous print size. It’s a 310gsm paper supplied as 25 sheets in A3+. That makes it a considered option when the way a print is presented matters as much as the image itself. The name points to a watercolour-inspired paper character, so it may appeal when you want your photographs to sit closer to a fine-art print than a standard everyday print. It’s best suited to photographers who have a particular image in mind and want to choose paper as part of its presentation. Portraits, landscapes or personal projects can all be judged on their own terms; the useful question is whether this paper’s named style feels right for the photograph. There’s no need to make every image fit the same paper.

Choosing a paper for the image

Paper choice is a personal part of making a print. A strong image on screen can feel different once it’s printed, and the paper’s character becomes part of how you present it. With Watercolour Rag in the name, this Permajet paper is worth considering when you’re deliberately looking beyond a plain, everyday photo-paper choice. Think about the mood you want the finished print to convey, and whether a watercolour-associated paper name suits that intention. A carefully chosen photograph can make a good starting point: one where the subject, tones and composition already work together, rather than an image you’re hoping paper alone will fix. If you’re selecting paper for a set of prints, consider how you want the images to relate to one another as a group. For a single print, focus on the character you want that image to have. This is a paper to choose with a specific presentation in mind, rather than simply by habit.
