PGYTECH Shoulder Strap Quick Release Clamp | Detach your shoulder strap with ease

Without a quick-release clamp, detaching a shoulder strap means dealing with its regular attachment each time. The PGYTECH Shoulder Strap Quick Release Clamp is a focused accessory for photographers who want a quicker way to release a shoulder strap when they need to change how they’re carrying their camera. Its purpose is right there in the name: it’s a clamp with a quick-release function, made for shoulder-strap use. That makes it worth considering if you often switch between carrying your camera on a strap and setting it aside, or if you want the strap to be removable rather than permanently part of your setup. It’s a simple, specific piece of kit, not a strap or a complete carrying system. Choose it for the release function; the product information here doesn’t establish which particular strap or camera connections it works with.

Specialist Note

“Is this the part that lets me release my shoulder strap quickly?” Yes—that’s the job of this PGYTECH clamp. I’d look at it if you want to detach a strap as part of your normal routine, for example when moving from carrying your camera to putting it away. The clamp gives you one defined release point, while the quick-release design is intended to make that change easier than dealing with a fixed connection. It’s a narrowly focused accessory, so I’d choose it for that specific convenience rather than expect it to solve every part of a carrying setup. The key question is whether it suits the strap connection you plan to use.
