Radius Windcover For Rycote Stereo WS AE Windshield Grey Fur | Protect your windshield in transit

Radius Windcover For Rycote Stereo WS AE Windshield Grey Fur is a grey-fur cover for the Rycote Stereo WS AE windshield, with the practical role of a protective pouch. It suits sound recordists who want to carry that windshield in a larger equipment bag without leaving it exposed to scratches and bumps from the rest of their kit. Think of it as protection for storage and transport: it gives the named windshield a dedicated place among your equipment. That makes it most useful when packing and unpacking regularly, or when your bag also holds other gear that could rub against it. The title points to a specific Rycote windshield, so this isn’t a general-purpose bag for a collection of audio equipment. Its job is more focused: keep the matching windshield protected while it travels in your larger bag, without adding extra complexity to how you pack.

Specialist Note

For recordists collecting stereo ambience or other location sound, this is a straightforward way to protect the Rycote Stereo WS AE windshield between recording sessions. I’d give it one dedicated place in your larger bag, rather than letting the windshield travel loose among other equipment; that’s where the pouch’s protection against scratches and bumps matters. The grey-fur cover is identified for that particular Rycote windshield, which makes it easier to keep the right protective piece with the right gear when packing. It’s a focused accessory, not a bag for your whole sound kit. If your aim is to protect this windshield during transport, that specific role is exactly the point.
