Sirui Plate TY-6DLBG | Custom fit for a gripped Canon 6D

Sirui Plate TY-6DLBG is a custom-fit tripod plate for the Canon 6D with a battery grip, made for photographers who use that specific camera setup on a tripod. It gives you a plate selected for the camera and grip combination named in the product designation, rather than asking you to guess from a general plate description. That makes it a straightforward option when you want to mount your gripped 6D for tripod-based photography. The key point is the fit: this plate is intended for the Canon 6D when it’s fitted with a battery grip. If that’s how you use your camera, the TY-6DLBG is the matching Sirui accessory to consider. It’s a focused piece of kit, with a clear purpose in a tripod setup.

Choosing the right fit

The camera configuration matters here. The TY-6DLBG is identified for a Canon 6D with its battery grip, so use that as your guide when selecting a plate. If your 6D is used with the grip attached, this product name points to that setup; if you use a different camera arrangement, don’t assume the same fit. Keeping the choice tied to the named configuration makes it easier to select the plate for the camera you actually take to the tripod.

Specialist Note

With a gripped Canon 6D on your tripod, the TY-6DLBG keeps the plate choice specific: you’re choosing for that camera-and-grip setup, not a general camera plate. The “6DLBG” designation is handy when you’re sorting accessories, because it identifies the intended pairing at a glance. I’d consider it for tripod-based work with your 6D and battery grip attached, such as a composed landscape or a steady portrait setup; select it by that exact camera configuration. One point to keep in mind is that its stated fit is specific to the gripped Canon 6D, so it’s not the plate to choose for an unrelated setup.
