SmallHD 12V-4.5A Us 2-PIN Power Supply
SmallHD 12V-4.5A US 2-PIN Power Supply | Keep a field monitor powered at a fixed setup
At a desk, edit station or production cart, a field monitor often stays in one place while you work. This SmallHD power supply gives that setup a dedicated way to power a monitor, without making battery changes part of the routine. It’s intended for SmallHD field-monitor use, so the important step is matching the supply to the monitor’s power requirements and connection. The US two-pin version is suited to setups that use that plug format. For a monitor position that’s used regularly, a dedicated supply can make the power arrangement simpler: place the monitor where you need it and use a matching power source there. It’s a practical accessory for a stationary viewing or monitoring setup, rather than a general-purpose supply to choose without checking the required rating and plug.
Specialist Note
This takes the repeated battery-planning out of a fixed SmallHD monitor setup. The 12V rating matters because the monitor needs to call for that voltage; the 4.5A rating gives you a clear current figure to match against its requirement, rather than guessing from the connector alone. I’d consider it for a monitor kept at an editing desk or on a production cart: position the display at your usual viewing point, then power it with a supply that matches its requirements. The US two-pin plug also makes the intended connection clear. It isn’t a universal fit for every monitor, so match the rating and plug before putting it into your setup.
