SmallRig 5380 RC 100C COB LED Video Light (Ink Blue / Pro Version)

SmallRig 5380 RC 100C COB LED Video Light (Ink Blue / Pro Version) | Continuous light for considered video setups

SmallRig 5380 RC 100C is a COB LED video light for people who need continuous light while recording. It’s aimed at video makers setting up a scene, from a solo creator filming at home to a small crew working on a planned shoot. Because the light stays on as you film, you can judge the scene’s illumination while you’re working rather than relying on a brief burst of light. That makes it a practical type of lighting for interviews, product clips and other video where the look of the scene matters. The name identifies this as the Pro Version, in Ink Blue. Those details give it a more distinctive appearance than a plain black light, while keeping the product’s role clear: this is a dedicated video light, not a camera or a general-purpose accessory. If you’re comparing lights, its COB LED design and continuous-light format are the useful starting points.

Where it fits

A continuous video light is worth considering when you want to see the lighting on your subject as you arrange a shot. You can make adjustments to the scene and watch the result in real time. That’s a straightforward way to work for a talking-head setup, a small tabletop scene or a video call that you’re recording. The light itself doesn’t dictate the final look; placement and the rest of your setup still matter.

The Ink Blue finish is a visible part of this particular version, so it may suit a kit where appearance matters as well as function. “Pro Version” is the version name; it’s sensible to treat it as a product variant, rather than assume a particular output or control feature from the label alone. In short, this is for someone shopping specifically for a SmallRig COB LED video light and wanting the Pro Version in Ink Blue.
