The SmallRig 5709 Shading Hood is designed to help improve image quality by shielding your Fujifilm X half lens from unwanted stray light. By reducing glare from the front, side, and overhead, it supports clearer photos with less flare and stronger contrast.

Made from durable aluminium alloy, this hood adds a layer of protection against everyday bumps and scratches while you shoot. It attaches securely to the front of the lens with a thumb screw, and padded contact points help keep your gear safe from marks during installation and use.

The charcoal silver version features a black-coated inner surface to minimize reflections that can cause distracting brightness or ghosting. It is also fully compatible with select SmallRig UV and VND filters made for the Fujifilm X half, making it a practical addition to your setup.
