SWIT MATRIX-S8 | Eight-channel V-Mount battery charging

Your V-Mount charging setup can be organized around one eight-channel wall charger. The SWIT MATRIX-S8 is made for charging V-Mount batteries, with 14V/28V charging and a maximum current rating of 6A. If you manage several packs across a camera department or production kit, the eight-channel format is the main point to consider. Think about how many batteries your usual turnaround involves, then weigh that against the charger’s channel count and stated voltage options. That’s a more useful starting point than choosing by model name alone. The MATRIX-S8 gives you a clearly defined charging setup, with its key figures stated right in the product name.

When choosing a charger, start with the rhythm of your work: how many packs need attention between shoots, and how much room do you have for a charging point? Those practical questions help you decide whether this format suits your setup. It’s also worth matching the charger’s stated details against the requirements of the batteries you plan to charge; don’t assume that a headline figure tells the whole story of how a charger behaves in every working situation. For a rental room or production team, the appeal here is the option to base a charging routine around one multi-channel unit. For a smaller kit, consider whether that channel capacity is useful to you day to day.
