Telesin ND16-Filterset For Insta360 X6 - 2-pack

Telesin ND16-Filterset For Insta360 X6 - 2-pack | Control bright-light footage

What sets this set apart is its specific combination: ND16 filtering for the Insta360 X6, supplied as a two-pack. It’s for X6 owners who want more control over motion in bright conditions, rather than simply reducing glare for a more comfortable view. An ND filter cuts the light reaching the camera, which can give you room to use a slower shutter speed in daylight and retain natural-looking motion blur in moving footage. That’s useful for scenes with people, vehicles or flowing water, where a very fast shutter can make movement look abrupt. The ND16 strength is best suited to bright scenes; it won’t be the right filter for every light level. If you shoot video with your X6 outdoors and want a deliberate, smoother rendering of movement, this set gives you a straightforward way to explore that look.

Using ND16 in bright conditions

Think of the filter as a way to manage exposure, not as an automatic motion effect. In strong daylight, the reduced light can make a slower shutter speed possible while keeping exposure under control. That can give moving subjects a softer trail of motion. In dimmer settings, the same light reduction may leave less room to work, so this strength is most useful when the scene is bright. Choose your shutter with the movement in mind: a slower setting shows more motion, while a faster one keeps it crisper.
