TetherTools Leverlock & Cable Kit Optima 10G 15' (4.6m) Straight To S

TetherTools LeverLock & Cable Kit Optima 10G 15' (4.6m) Straight To S | A 15-foot tether cable kit

A tethered camera setup needs a cable that can reach the working position without forcing the camera to sit right beside the computer. The TetherTools LeverLock & Cable Kit Optima 10G 15' (4.6m) Straight To S is a cable kit for that kind of connected workflow, with a stated length of 15 feet (4.6 metres). It suits photographers who want to work tethered and need that length between their camera position and the other end of the connection. The product name also identifies it as an Optima 10G cable and specifies a Straight To S configuration. Those details make this a specific cable-kit choice rather than an unspecified tether lead. Its appeal is practical: you can judge the stated reach and connection description against your own setup before choosing it. I’d pay particular attention to the exact “Straight To S” wording, since that’s part of the product designation.

The 15-foot length gives you a clear number to work with when planning where the camera and the rest of a tethered setup will sit. Measure the route the cable needs to take, rather than just the direct distance between the two points; a cable may need to follow a longer path around a table or other equipment. That’s a useful way to decide whether this particular length suits your workspace. The name also includes LeverLock, so this is the LeverLock version of the TetherTools cable kit. No camera system is named here, so I’ve kept the description to the details in the product name rather than suggesting compatibility. If the length and Straight To S designation match the connection you need, the product title gives you the key details to identify this kit.
