Thypoch Ksana 21mm f/3.5 Asph For Leica M-Mount - Silver | Wide perspective for landscapes and architecture

This silver Thypoch is a wide-angle prime for Leica M photographers who prefer to focus manually and choose their framing with care. Its 21mm view is especially well suited to landscapes and architecture, where you may want to include a broad stretch of scenery or show more of a building in its surroundings. It’s an interchangeable lens, so it can become a dedicated part of a Leica M kit rather than an all-purpose zoom. Manual focus also suits a deliberate pace: you set the focus yourself as you compose, rather than relying on autofocus. The Ksana is most at home when space and perspective matter in the picture. For travel scenes, open views and architectural details, it gives you a wide angle to work with while keeping the process straightforward.

Specialist Note

21mm gives you room to include the setting as well as your subject; for a building, step back if you can and watch the edges of the frame as you compose. I’d also consider it for a landscape where you want foreground detail to lead into a wider view. The f/3.5 maximum aperture is a sensible match for daylight work, but it gives you less light to work with as conditions dim, so expect to raise ISO or use a slower shutter. Manual focus suits photographers who like to set focus deliberately. If low-light shooting is your priority, this wouldn’t be my first pick.
