Tilta ES-T20-BTP2-AB Battery Plate For Sony FX6 Type II - Gold Mount | Extra support for handheld video

During a handheld video take, a camera can benefit from more support than a simple handheld setup provides. The Tilta ES-T20-BTP2-AB is a shoulder rig product named for the Sony FX6 Type II and Gold Mount. It suits operators building a handheld setup around that camera, particularly when they want the camera supported for video work rather than carried unsupported. The supplier identifies its role as a shoulder rig, so its place is in a supported handheld setup; the product name also makes its intended camera and mount specific. That gives you a clear starting point when planning a rig for interviews, event coverage or other video work that calls for handheld operation. It’s a focused piece of kit for FX6 Type II users working with Gold Mount, rather than a general-purpose accessory for unrelated camera setups.

Specialist Note

Handheld work can become tiring when the camera has no extra support, and this plate is intended for a shoulder-rig setup to address that need. Its name specifies Sony FX6 Type II, so I’d keep it in mind for an operator building around that camera, not as a catch-all plate. Gold Mount is the other key detail: it tells you which mount configuration this product is for. For interview work or event coverage, use it as part of a supported handheld rig and plan your setup around the FX6 Type II and Gold Mount combination. It’s a purpose-specific option, so it suits that configuration best.
