Tilta Tga-Arg-SSC Soft Shell Case For Advanced Ring Grip | A dedicated case for your ring grip

For handheld video where the camera needs extra support, the Advanced Ring Grip is the shoulder-rig component; this Tilta product is its soft-shell case. The Tga-Arg-SSC is made for the Advanced Ring Grip, giving that specific piece of rigging a designated place between setups. It suits videographers who use the ring grip for handheld work and want to keep the grip with their kit when it’s not in use. The case doesn’t provide camera support while filming: that’s the job of the shoulder rig itself. Its value is in having a case for the grip, rather than treating the case as another part of the shooting setup. If your work includes moving between handheld video setups, this keeps the product’s purpose clear: the grip supports the camera in use, and this soft-shell case is for the grip.

Specialist Note

The Tga-Arg-SSC gives the Advanced Ring Grip a dedicated soft-shell case instead of leaving that specific rig loose in your kit. I’d think of the two as a simple pair: the Advanced Ring Grip is the shoulder-rig component for handheld video when your camera needs extra support, while this case is for the grip between setups. That distinction matters; a case won’t steady the camera, and the grip isn’t a storage solution. This is most relevant if you regularly pack away the ring grip after handheld work and want a case made for that named item. It’s a soft-shell case, so I wouldn’t treat it as a hard travel case.
