TTArtisan APS-C 25mm f/2.0 RF-Mount | A deliberate view for street and travel

Street photography is often done with a zoom, but a fixed 25mm view encourages you to choose your framing and work within it. The TTArtisan APS-C 25mm f/2.0 is an interchangeable wide-angle prime for Canon RF-mount APS-C cameras, suited to photographers who like to set their viewpoint rather than change focal lengths. Its 59° angle of view gives you room to include a person and their surroundings, or to frame travel details and shopfronts without an overly broad perspective. This lens is genuinely at home on the street and on the move, where one consistent view can keep composition simple. It suits someone happy to adjust their position to refine a frame, instead of reaching for a zoom. If you want a straightforward prime for everyday scenes and travel, this is a focused, practical way to work.

Specialist Note

Manual focus makes this a poor fit if you need the lens to track moving subjects for you; its appeal is the control it gives you over a considered street or travel frame. At f/2, you can aim for a shutter speed around 1/250 sec when photographing people walking in changing light, then adjust ISO as needed. On an APS-C Canon RF-S body, 25mm gives framing similar to a 40mm lens on full frame—a useful perspective for a café scene or a person with some surroundings. I’d point this lens towards someone happy to focus carefully, perhaps pre-focus near a chosen distance, and wait for a subject to enter the frame. That deliberate way of working is the trade-off, and for the right photographer it’s part of the appeal.
