Urth 58mm Essentials Filter Kit Pro (UV CPL ND8 ND1000) | Four filters for changing light

Changing light can call for a different filter, and buying them one at a time can be a hassle. This 58mm Urth filter kit brings together UV, CPL, ND8 and ND1000 filters for photographers who want options for different scenes without assembling a set piece by piece. Use the CPL to reduce reflections on water or glass, or to bring more depth to a blue sky. The ND filters reduce the light reaching the camera, giving you more room to use a slower shutter in bright conditions; the ND8 is the lighter option, while the ND1000 is suited to much stronger light reduction. The UV filter rounds out the set for situations where you want a UV filter on the lens. It’s a practical fit for landscape and outdoor photography, especially if your lens has a 58mm filter thread.

Specialist Note

The limitation is right in the name: this set is for a 58mm filter thread, so it won’t fit a lens with a different thread size. For a matching lens, I like the range it gives you without making you choose just one kind of effect. Reach for the CPL to tame reflections on a lake or shop window; use the ND1000 when you want moving water to blur in bright daylight. The ND8 gives you a lighter reduction when the ND1000 would be too strong. It suits someone who enjoys changing the look of a scene in-camera and wants those options in one kit.
