Urth 62mm Variable ND2 32 Filter Pro
Urth 62mm Variable ND2 32 Filter Pro | Control bright-light exposure
Longer exposures and wider apertures become easier to use in bright conditions with the Urth 62mm Variable ND2 32 Filter Pro. It’s a variable neutral density filter, so you can adjust how much light reaches your camera instead of relying on one fixed level of reduction. That makes it useful for photographers who want to soften the movement of water or clouds, or keep a wide aperture for a portrait when the light is strong. The ND2–32 range gives you room to change the amount of filtration to suit the scene. Its 62mm size is the key fit detail: it’s intended for a lens with a matching filter thread. If your work often moves between bright outdoor scenes and changing light, a variable filter can save you swapping between different ND strengths.
Specialist Note
62mm tells you the filter size in practical terms: it’s intended for a lens with a matching 62mm filter thread. The variable ND2–32 range is the part I’d focus on; it lets you reduce the light reaching the camera by different amounts rather than committing to one fixed density. For daylight water or moving clouds, increase the filtration to make a longer exposure possible. For a portrait in bright conditions, reduce it enough to keep using a wider aperture. It suits photographers who want that exposure control in one filter. The size is specific, though, so it won’t fit a lens with a different thread size.
