Urth 72mm Variable ND2 32 Filter Pro
Urth 72mm Variable ND2 32 Filter Pro | Adjust exposure in changing light
To keep a chosen aperture in bright light or make moving water render with a longer exposure, a variable neutral-density filter reduces the light reaching the camera. The Urth 72mm Variable ND2 32 Filter Pro offers an adjustable range from ND2 to ND32, so you can shape exposure without changing the scene. It suits photographers who want to manage shutter speed or depth of field in daylight, especially when changing light makes swapping fixed-density filters inconvenient. At the lighter end, use it to temper brightness while retaining a wide aperture; increase the density when you want a slower shutter for motion blur. The 72mm designation is the filter size, which matters when your lens takes 72mm filters. Its range covers moderate exposure control, though ND32 has a limit: very long exposures in strong sun may call for more density than this filter provides.
Specialist Note
For adjusting exposure outdoors without stopping to swap fixed filters, this Urth’s variable density is the useful part. I’d suggest it if you want to keep a chosen aperture in daylight, or soften the movement of a stream by extending the shutter and increasing the density toward ND32. The range starts at ND2, so you can make a lighter correction before going further. Its 72mm sizing means it’s intended for lenses identified with that filter diameter, rather than being a one-size-fits-all accessory. One limit to bear in mind: ND32 may not cut enough light for very long exposures under strong sun.
