Varta V 625 U NR.4626

Varta V 625 U NR.4626: Replace a matching 1.5V battery

Alkaline chemistry defines the Varta V 625 U NR.4626: this is a 1.5V battery for equipment that specifies this battery type. The important detail when choosing a replacement is the model reference, V 625 U, also identified as NR.4626. Use it to replace a depleted battery in equipment calling for that exact type, keep one as a spare for the same equipment, or replenish a battery compartment that takes a 15.6mm-diameter cell. Those uses all depend on matching the required battery, rather than choosing by brand alone. It’s a straightforward item, but the model code and voltage are worth checking against the battery you’re replacing. Varta’s Photo V 625 U is the name used for this battery, with alkaline chemistry and a 1.5V rating.

Battery details

• Alkaline chemistry: The battery uses alkaline chemistry, one of the core details to match when replacing a cell. Choose it when the equipment’s required battery is identified as V 625 U or NR.4626.
• 1.5V output: Its rated voltage is 1.5V. That gives you a clear electrical specification to compare with the requirement printed on the device or its existing battery.
• 15.6mm diameter: The cell measures 15.6mm across. That measurement is useful when checking the available width in a battery compartment that calls for this type.
• V 625 U identification: The product name uses the V 625 U designation, while NR.4626 is also included in the title. These references make it easier to match the replacement to the code on an existing battery.
• Single battery: The package contains the battery itself. It’s a simple replacement item, rather than a set of cells.
