VAXIS Storm 3000 DG 1ϼŠ1 Kit 26V
VAXIS Storm 3000 DG 1:1 Kit 26V | Field monitoring for on-set viewing
For viewing a camera image during a production and checking framing as a scene takes shape, the VAXIS Storm 3000 DG 1:1 Kit 26V is a field-monitor product for crews who need a dedicated viewing point on set. Its name identifies the Storm 3000 DG model, a 1:1 kit designation and the 26V version. That makes the full product name useful when you’re planning equipment for a shoot or keeping track of the kit between setups. Use a field monitor to assess the image as you work, rather than relying on the camera’s own viewing screen alone. It suits productions where a clear place to review composition is part of the workflow, from a carefully framed interview to a scene being set up with several people involved. The product’s role is straightforward: on-set image monitoring, with its exact configuration identified in the name.
Specialist Note
The “26V” suffix is the detail I’d keep visible on your equipment list, so this particular kit is easy to identify when you’re organising gear for a shoot. The 1:1 designation is just as useful to retain when you’re recording which version you’ve planned around; I wouldn’t shorten the name to “Storm 3000” in a handover. For a seated interview, use a field monitor as a separate viewing point while you settle the framing; on a set with a director or client nearby, it gives them a place to follow the image as the composition is adjusted. It’s best suited to that viewing role, rather than being treated as a camera or recording device.
