VisibleDust VD VDust Plus Dhap + SB 1.0

VisibleDust VD VDust Plus Dhap + SB 1.0 - sensor-cleaning kit with brush and swabs

Fewer dust marks on your pictures start with a clean sensor. The VisibleDust VD VDust Plus Dhap + SB 1.0 combines a 1.0 cleaning-swab kit with VDust Plus fluid and a sensor brush, so you have tools for loose dust as well as marks that need a wet clean. It’s a focused accessory for camera owners who are comfortable cleaning their own sensor and want a set with the main cleaning items together. Use the brush to lift loose dust from the sensor, then use a swab with the sterile 1.15 ml VDust Plus solution to address dust, moisture and greasy marks. The swabs have a rectangular shape, suited to cleaning across a sensor surface rather than picking at individual spots. The fluid also leaves a moderate static barrier, which means the sensor attracts dust less quickly after cleaning. That makes the kit useful for dealing with visible specks that show up across images, cleaning after moisture or oily marks have appeared, and removing loose dust before it settles into a more persistent mark. There are five swabs in the set, so you have more than one cleaning pass available. The combination is straightforward: a brush for dry, loose particles and fluid with a swab for the marks that need more. The colour is black.

Why it is useful

• Brush for loose dust: The static sensor brush is included for removing dust that is sitting loose on the sensor. It gives you a dry-cleaning option before using fluid and a swab.
• VDust Plus cleaning fluid: The sterile 1.15 ml solution is intended for sensor cleaning and addresses dust, moisture and greasy marks. That range of residue makes the fluid useful for more than loose particles alone.
• Five rectangular swabs: The set contains five sensor-cleaning swabs. Their rectangular shape is made for cleaning along the sensor surface, rather than treating the job as a series of small spot cleans.
• 1.0 kit designation: The 1.0 designation is part of this kit’s product name. It distinguishes this Dhap version from other VDust Plus kits and is worth matching to the cleaning accessories you already use.
• Two cleaning approaches in one set: The brush handles loose dust, while a swab and solution address marks that need wet cleaning. Having both methods in the kit means you can choose the appropriate tool for the type of dirt.
• Moderate static barrier: VDust Plus leaves a moderate static barrier after cleaning. This reduces how readily dust is attracted back to the sensor, an especially useful detail when you’ve just finished cleaning it.
