Westcott Flex Cine Gear Bag (1' X 2')
Westcott Flex Cine Gear Bag (1' X 2') | Hard-case protection for transport
At a busy load-in, a camera accessory bag may be set down among other equipment, or carried through a dusty area with rain in the forecast. The Westcott Flex Cine Gear Bag is a hard case for transporting and storing gear when it needs more protection from knocks and the elements than an ordinary soft bag can offer. Its 1' x 2' format gives you a clear starting point when planning where it will sit in your vehicle or storage area. This is a practical option for crews and camera specialists who want a dedicated case for their gear between setups, rather than leaving it exposed during transit or on site. It’s best suited to situations where protecting equipment during transport and storage matters; it isn’t a reason to assume the contents are safe from every impact or from water getting in. Think of it as a protective case for the journey and the working day.
Planning the fit
Before setting aside a place for the case, consider both the space it will occupy and the gear you intend to store. The 1' x 2' designation helps with the first part of that planning. For the second, compare your packed kit with the case’s usable space, rather than assuming the stated size describes the room inside. That simple check helps you decide whether this is the right case for a particular set of equipment without relying on guesswork.
Specialist Note
For moving gear where bumps, dust or rain are part of the day, this hard case is a more protective option than carrying it in a soft bag. I’d suggest it to camera crews and specialists who need their gear stored between setups, or transported to a location where it may be handled alongside other equipment. The 1' x 2' size is useful when you’re planning case storage: measure the space you can give it, then check the packed kit against the case’s usable interior before committing. It’s a focused transport and storage solution, not a promise of waterproofing or protection from every hard impact. If you need a case for a specific load, make the fit check part of your packing plan.
