Wooden Camera Zip Box Pro 4x5.65 (87mm Clamp On)
Wooden Camera Zip Box Pro 4x5.65 (87mm Clamp On) | A clearly specified fit for your camera rig
Choosing a box for a rig can get confusing when the format and mounting size aren’t clear. This Wooden Camera Zip Box Pro is identified for 4x5.65 and an 87mm clamp-on fit, so you can match those details to the setup you’re building before choosing this version. It’s a specialist camera-rig accessory for filmmakers and crew members who need to work to those dimensions, rather than a general-purpose tripod add-on. The useful point here is specificity: the product name tells you the format and clamp size at a glance. That makes it easier to plan a rig around the components you already use and to avoid selecting a version with a different stated fit. If your setup calls for 4x5.65 and an 87mm clamp-on arrangement, this is the version to consider; if either dimension differs, it may not be the right match.
Fit at a glance
Think of the 4x5.65 designation and 87mm clamp-on description as the key selection points for this model. They’re useful when you’re laying out a camera rig and want the box’s stated format and mounting size to be clear from the start. The product is supplied as a tripod accessory, but its title also specifies the clamp-on arrangement, so those details are worth keeping together when you plan your setup.
Specialist Note
“Will this Zip Box Pro suit a setup planned around 4x5.65 and an 87mm clamp-on fit?” Yes—that’s exactly how this version is identified. I’d consider it when you’re building a rig around that format and want the mounting size stated clearly before you choose. The 4x5.65 designation gives you a specific format to plan around, while 87mm tells you the clamp-on size to match at the camera end. It’s for filmmakers and crew working to those dimensions, not someone needing a different clamp size. My practical advice is to treat both numbers as essential: getting one right doesn’t make up for the other being wrong.
