XEEN CF 24mm T1.5 FF Cine PL

XEEN CF 24mm T1.5 FF Cine PL | Broad, controlled cinema framing

When a scene needs to show its surroundings as well as its subject, this is where the XEEN CF 24mm T1.5 FF Cine PL earns its place. It’s a wide-angle prime for filmmakers who want a broad, deliberate frame in one shot, especially on sets, in interiors or for establishing views. The 24mm focal length leaves room for context, while the estimated 84° angle of view gives you an expansive composition. Its PL mount makes it a cinema-lens option for PL workflows. Choose it when the space is part of the story: a performer framed with the room around them, or a location whose layout helps set the scene. It’s a focused tool for wide compositions, rather than a focal length intended to cover every shot.

Making a wide frame work

• Keep the setting and the subject together in one composed view.
• Plan the camera position around the space you want in the frame.
• As a prime lens, it asks you to shape the shot through camera placement rather than changing focal length.

On set

Give the composition a clear subject, even when you’re including plenty of the surrounding space. In a room or on a set, take care with what enters the edges of the frame; a broad view makes the environment an active part of the image.
