Yashica X Peanuts Sky Blue

Yashica X Peanuts Sky Blue: capture trips and family moments

Travel photos and family snapshots are easy to keep close with the Yashica X Peanuts Sky Blue, a compact digital camera that records video up to 4K. Its sky-blue finish carries Peanuts character artwork, bringing a playful look to a camera made for everyday pictures without a bag of extra lenses. Take it along on a city day out, use it to record family get-togethers, or keep it handy for the small moments that happen between planned activities. Still images are available at resolutions from 5 to 30 megapixels, so you can choose a setting to suit the picture you’re taking. For video, recording reaches 4K; the listed video options also include 1080p, 720p and 480p. That combination gives you stills and moving images in one simple compact-camera format. The camera’s charm is more than its colour: Snoopy and the Peanuts theme give it a distinctive personality, making it an appealing pick for fans as well as anyone who prefers a camera with character. With a rechargeable battery and USB-C connection, it’s ready to come along on regular outings, not just special occasions.

Built for the way you shoot

• 8x digital zoom: Bring distant details closer in the frame without carrying another lens. It’s digital zoom, so it works by enlarging the image rather than changing the camera’s optical reach.
• Smile Capture: Smile recognition can trigger a photo when a subject smiles, a handy option for relaxed family pictures.
• Anti-Shake: This feature is intended to reduce the effect of camera movement, useful when you’re taking a quick picture on the move.
• Close-focus distance from 100 cm: The camera’s stated shooting range begins at one metre and extends to infinity. Keep that distance in mind for close-up subjects.
• 7.36 mm focal length and f/3.2 aperture: These are the lens specifications for framing and light gathering. The camera also offers automatic, portrait, landscape, night portrait, night landscape, beach and high-sensitivity modes.
• Rechargeable 650 mAh battery: The built-in power source is rechargeable, and the camera connects through USB-C for charging or connection.
• MicroSD support up to 64 GB: The camera accepts MicroSD cards, with SDHC Level 6 specified. JPG is the photo format and AVI is the video format.

The display

The rear screen measures 2.4 inches and has a 320 × 240 IPS resolution. It gives you a built-in display for composing and reviewing pictures, with no separate screen to carry. Its compact size fits the camera’s simple, take-along character; the listed resolution is modest, so treat it as a viewing screen rather than a detailed monitor for judging fine image detail.
