Yongnuo YN120 LED Lamp - RGB WB (2500 K - 9900 K)

Yongnuo YN120 LED Lamp - RGB WB (2500 K - 9900 K) | Set the light’s colour to suit your scene

The Yongnuo YN120 LED Lamp offers RGB light and a white-balance range of 2500 K to 9900 K, giving you two ways to work with colour. It’s for photographers and video makers who want a continuous light source and need more than one colour temperature for a scene. The stated range runs from a warm setting at 2500 K to a much cooler one at 9900 K, so you can choose where the white light sits rather than being tied to a single temperature. RGB adds colour options beyond white light. That makes the YN120 worth considering for shoots where the colour of the light is part of the look, as well as for more neutral lighting. The honest point: the title gives a colour range, not a measure of brightness, so it’s the colour flexibility that’s clear here.

Choosing the colour of your light

Colour temperature can change how a scene feels: lower Kelvin values look warmer, while higher values look cooler. With a range of 2500 K to 9900 K, the YN120 covers both ends of that scale. RGB is a separate part of its appeal: it identifies the lamp as offering coloured light, rather than only a white-light range. If you’re comparing continuous lights, consider whether these colour options match the way you work. They’re relevant when you want the light itself to contribute to the image, or when you’re choosing a white-light tone to suit a scene. There’s no need to read more into the name than it says: it identifies an RGB LED lamp with a stated WB range. For a shop-floor comparison, those are the details to start with.
