Zhiyun Molus X100RGB Pro w/ EU Plug

Zhiyun Molus X100RGB Pro w/ EU Plug | RGB light for studio sets

Without a dedicated lamp, a set often ends up relying on whatever room light is available. The Zhiyun Molus X100RGB Pro is a studio lamp for creators who want lighting to be part of the set design, rather than just something that makes the scene visible. Its RGB name points to colour as part of the job, so it’s relevant when you’re planning a coloured background or a distinct look for a product, portrait or video scene. The EU plug version is the one to consider if that plug type suits your setup. I’d think of it as a lamp for deliberate studio work: the useful question is whether colour belongs in your lighting plan, not whether you simply need more light. That makes its role clearer before you build it into a setup.

A considered place in your lighting setup

For a small product scene, a coloured light can help separate the subject from a plain background or give the frame a more intentional mood. In a portrait or video setup, it can be part of the visual design rather than an afterthought. The X100RGB Pro is aimed at that kind of set work; the RGB designation is the detail to pay attention to if you’re comparing it with a lamp chosen simply for general illumination.

It’s worth planning the lamp around the scene you want to make. Think about where the subject sits, what you want the background to do, and whether colour will help tell the story. For a straightforward setup where colour has no role, an RGB lamp may be more than you need. But if you’re shaping a look on set, this model’s name makes its intended direction plain. The EU plug detail also gives you a practical point to account for when choosing where it’ll be used.
