3 Legged Thing Phil Universal Multi Functional Arca 3/8 & 1/4 Phone Clamp Green
3 Legged Thing Phil Universal Multi Functional Arca 3/8 & 1/4 Phone Clamp Green | Keep your phone steady on a tripod
Keep your phone’s framing steady for a video call, a short recording or a hands-free view. The 3 Legged Thing Phil is a green universal phone clamp made as a tripod accessory, with Arca compatibility and 3/8 and 1/4 fittings named in its title. It’s suited to anyone who wants to use a phone in a tripod setup, from a creator recording a piece to camera to someone setting up a hands-free call. The clamp brings the phone into your tripod arrangement, so you can position the setup rather than prop your phone against whatever’s nearby. Its mix of Arca and two fitting sizes is useful when you’re matching it to equipment that uses one of those named connections. This is a focused phone holder, rather than a general-purpose camera support; choose it when your phone is what you want to mount.
Specialist Note
3/8 and 1/4 are the two fitting sizes named for the Phil, giving you options when matching the clamp to a tripod setup. Its Arca compatibility is handy if that’s the plate system you already use, so the phone can join an existing arrangement rather than needing a separate approach. I’d suggest it for a hands-free video call or a phone recording: set your tripod for the framing you want, then use the clamp to hold the phone there. The green finish adds a distinct touch. Just bear in mind that this is specifically a phone clamp, so its role is to hold a phone, not to support other camera gear.
