7Ryms iRay DW20 PRO Wireless Microphone w/ 2 Transmitters + Case
7Ryms iRay DW20 PRO Wireless Microphone w/ 2 Transmitters + Case | Two-speaker audio without passing one mic
For a two-person interview, the 7Ryms iRay DW20 PRO Wireless Microphone gives you a way to record both speakers without passing one microphone back and forth. It’s a wireless microphone set with two transmitters, making it a natural fit for conversations, interviews and presenter-and-guest videos. Each speaker can have a transmitter, so the conversation can continue without taking turns holding a shared mic. That’s the picture this set is built around: two people speaking together, with less interruption to the exchange. It’s a focused option for creators, small teams and anyone making video with a second voice in the scene. The included case is a practical extra for keeping the set together between recording sessions. If your usual setup means one person has to hold the microphone or wait for their turn, this two-transmitter arrangement gives you a more direct way to capture a conversation.
A straightforward fit for two voices
Think of the iRay DW20 PRO for an interview, a co-hosted segment or a conversation between a presenter and a guest. Give each person one transmitter, then let the discussion flow instead of handing a microphone from one speaker to the other. That makes the set’s purpose easy to understand before you plan a shoot: it’s built around two people speaking together. For a solo piece to camera, that two-person arrangement may be more than you need.
Specialist Note
The iRay DW20 PRO makes a two-person conversation easier to capture than asking speakers to share one microphone. I’d look at it for interviews or a presenter-and-guest video: give one transmitter to each of the two speakers, and they can talk without taking turns with the mic. That two-transmitter setup is the detail that matters most in everyday use; it gives each person a defined part in the recording. The case is useful for keeping the set together between sessions, especially if you’re moving between recording spots. I see its clearest role as dialogue between two people, rather than a setup centred on one speaker.
