ACT 15 Meters HDMI Pro Certified 8K Active Optical Cable HDMI-A Male HDMI-A Male

ACT 15 Meters HDMI Pro Certified 8K Active Optical Cable HDMI-A Male HDMI-A Male | Certified 8K HDMI over 15 metres

For connecting a source and screen that need to sit apart, this cable provides a 15-metre HDMI link for the picture between them. The ACT 15 Meters HDMI Pro Certified 8K Active Optical Cable HDMI-A Male HDMI-A Male is an active optical HDMI cable with HDMI-A male connectors at both ends and a Pro Certified 8K designation. It suits a setup where a short lead won’t reach and you want a direct HDMI connection between equipment placed farther apart. The connector type is important: the cable has male HDMI-A ends, so the devices need matching HDMI-A sockets. Before settling on a route, measure the path the cable will actually follow, not just the distance between the devices. That’s the practical detail that can save a frustrating mismatch between the plan and the room.

Planning the connection

With a longer cable run, it helps to decide where both devices will sit before choosing the path. Measure along the intended route, allowing for the way it needs to reach each connection point. A straight-line measurement across a room can be shorter than the route around furniture or along a wall. Think about whether the HDMI-A connectors will be accessible once the equipment is in place, too; a little room at each end makes connecting and disconnecting less awkward. The active optical description and 8K certification are part of this cable’s identity, but they don’t change the simple planning step: check that the cable’s length and connector style suit the route and the sockets at both ends. For a specialist installation, I’d map that path first, then choose where the cable and connected equipment will sit.
