ACT 2m High Speed Ethernet Cable HDMI-A Male - Male (AWG30)

ACT 2m High Speed Ethernet Cable HDMI-A Male - Male (AWG30) | A straightforward HDMI link for nearby equipment

When two pieces of equipment need an HDMI connection, a cable that’s the wrong length or has the wrong ends can hold up the setup. This ACT cable is 2 metres long and has HDMI-A male connectors at both ends, giving you a direct link between equipment with matching HDMI-A sockets. It suits a nearby connection where that length gives you enough reach without having to route a much longer cable. The product is identified as a High Speed Ethernet Cable, and the stated conductor size is AWG30. That makes the title useful when you’re matching a cable to an existing setup or replacing one with the same connector type. The practical point is simple: check the connection points and the route you want the cable to take. For equipment close together, 2 metres gives you a defined length to work with.

Planning the connection

Before you set up, consider where each device will sit and how the cable will run between them. A two-metre cable is best suited to a connection where the equipment is within reach along the planned route; allow for the path around a desk or stand, rather than measuring only the straight-line gap. Both ends use HDMI-A male connectors, so the receiving equipment needs matching HDMI-A sockets. This is a useful detail to check when choosing a replacement: the plug shape and gender matter just as much as the cable length. Keep the route clear of places where the cable would be pinched or pulled tight, and leave enough slack for the equipment’s position. It’s a simple cable, so choosing it comes down to matching those physical details to your setup.
