ACT 30m High Performance VGA Cable Male-Male w/ Metal Hoods

ACT 30m High Performance VGA Cable Male-Male w/ Metal Hoods | A long VGA connection in one cable

A short cable can make it awkward to place a VGA source and display where you need them. This ACT cable gives you a 30-metre connection, with male VGA connectors at both ends and metal hoods. It suits a setup where the equipment has matching VGA sockets and the cable needs to cover a longer route between them. The practical benefit is straightforward: you can plan for more distance than a short desk lead allows. It’s best considered for a fixed or carefully routed connection where the full cable length is useful, rather than buying extra length without measuring first. The title describes it as high performance, but the details here are limited to its VGA format, length, connector type and metal hoods. If those match your setup, this is a direct cable option for carrying a VGA video connection across the space.

Before choosing a cable length, measure the route it needs to take, not just the straight-line distance between the two devices. Allow for the path around furniture or along a wall, then consider where the cable will enter each piece of equipment. With 30 metres available, this model is aimed at a longer run; the extra reach is only useful if the route and connection points call for it. The male-to-male arrangement means both devices need a VGA socket that accepts a male plug. The metal hoods are part of the connector ends, so they’re also easy to identify when you’re checking the cable against your existing setup. That’s the useful way to judge this product: match the connector format and required route length, rather than assuming that every VGA installation needs the same cable.
