ACT 3m High Quality HDMI High Speed Cable HDMI-A Male-Male

ACT 3m High Quality HDMI High Speed Cable HDMI-A Male-Male | Connect HDMI-A equipment across a 3m run

Without a dedicated HDMI cable, connecting two pieces of equipment means finding a lead with the right ends and enough reach. This ACT cable has HDMI-A male connectors at both ends and a stated length of 3 metres, making its purpose straightforward: link equipment with matching HDMI-A sockets. It’s described as a High Speed HDMI cable, so it suits someone looking for that cable type rather than an adapter or a lead with a different connector. The useful detail here is the combination of a familiar HDMI-A connection and a defined cable length. If those match the connection you need to make, this gives you a direct cable option without adding a connector change into the setup. Keep in mind that “High Speed” is the designation in the product name; it doesn’t tell you a particular resolution or supported format.

Planning the connection

Think about the route between the two HDMI-A sockets, not just the straight-line distance. A cable that reaches when stretched directly across a desk may need a different path around equipment, along a wall, or behind furniture. Allow room for the route you actually plan to use, and avoid putting strain on the connectors by pulling the cable tight. These are simple checks, but they help you decide whether a 3-metre cable suits the layout you have in mind.

It’s also worth matching the connector shape at each end to the sockets on the equipment you want to link. This cable has male HDMI-A connectors on both ends, so it’s intended for a direct connection between matching ports. If your setup calls for another connector type or an adapter, this isn’t the cable description to rely on. For a straightforward HDMI-A-to-HDMI-A connection, the details are clear: male plugs at both ends, with three metres of cable between them.
