ACT 50 cm DisplayPort Cable Male - Male Power Pin 20 Con

ACT 50 cm DisplayPort Cable Male - Male Power Pin 20 Con | A short link for nearby DisplayPort connections

The defining choice is the 50 cm length: this cable is for connecting nearby DisplayPort ports without having a long cable to route. That makes it a practical fit when the devices or connection points sit close together. It has a male connector at each end, so the link is made between two matching ports. The title also identifies power pin 20 as connected. For a camera desk or other setup where DisplayPort is part of the arrangement, the short reach can help keep the cable run contained. It’s a specific cable for a specific connection, rather than a general-purpose lead. One honest point: half a metre gives you limited room to position connected equipment, so it makes most sense when the ports are already close. If you need to bridge a wider gap, this length may not suit your layout.

When a short cable makes sense

Think about the distance between the two ports before choosing this cable. At 50 cm, it’s intended for a compact run, not for routing around furniture or across a room. A short cable can also mean less spare length to manage when the connected equipment stays in one place. That’s useful for a tidy, close-together setup, but it does leave little slack for moving either device once connected. The male-to-male arrangement describes the ends; make sure that’s the connection format your setup calls for. No video resolution or supported device list is claimed here, so the useful buying details are the connection type, length and pin 20 wording in the product name.
