ACT 5m HQ Audio Connect Cable 1X 3.5mm Male - 2X RCA Male

ACT 5m HQ Audio Connect Cable 1X 3.5mm Male - 2X RCA Male | Connect a 3.5mm audio output to RCA inputs

Without a cable with the right plugs, connecting a 3.5mm audio output to equipment with RCA inputs can mean an awkward workaround. This ACT audio cable gives you a direct link: one 3.5mm male plug at one end and two RCA male plugs at the other. It’s suited to a setup where your audio source has a 3.5mm connection and the receiving equipment takes a pair of RCA plugs. The 5-metre length gives you room to place those devices apart, rather than keeping them right beside each other. For a home audio connection or another straightforward audio setup, that’s the main point: match the plugs at each end and run the cable between them. There’s no need to make this more complicated than it is. Just make sure the source and receiving connections match the cable’s ends.

A straightforward cable run

Think of this as a connector solution, rather than a device with controls or settings to work out. The cable’s layout is clear from its name: a single 3.5mm male connector and a pair of RCA male connectors. That arrangement suits a connection from a 3.5mm audio output to equipment with two RCA inputs. Its 5-metre length can help when the two pieces of equipment aren’t positioned together; you can route the cable between them without relying on a very short lead. The useful check is simply the connection at each end of your setup. If one side needs a different plug, this isn’t the right cable for that particular connection. For the matching 3.5mm-to-RCA route, it keeps the job simple.
