ACT 80m HDMI High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable w/ Detach

ACT 80m HDMI High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable w/ Detach | HDMI reach for long-distance setups

When your display or other HDMI equipment needs to sit a long way from its source, a standard short cable won’t bridge the gap. This ACT cable gives you an 80-metre HDMI run, with an active optical design and High Speed 4K in its name. It’s for setups where the distance is the main challenge: for example, when the screen and source need to be placed far apart. The cable is also described as detachable, which may suit a setup where that feature matters to your installation. Its length is the concrete reason to consider it; this isn’t a cable to choose simply because you need a short connection close to your equipment. If 80 metres fits your route, it’s a straightforward option to investigate.

Before deciding, think through the actual path the cable needs to take, rather than measuring only the straight-line distance between the two ends. That gives you a better sense of whether an 80-metre cable suits the installation. Also consider where the cable’s detachable feature needs to be useful in your setup. The product name identifies it as an HDMI cable, so HDMI is the connection type to look for in your planned arrangement. The title also specifies High Speed 4K; those are useful details to have when comparing long cable runs. There’s no need to dress this up: the appeal is the combination of a stated 80-metre length, active optical construction and detachable design. If your setup calls for those things, this ACT cable is worth considering.
